I am still in the process of helping/caring for aging parents and in-laws. My Mom has now entered the stage of progressive weakness, weight loss, extreme shortness of breath (COPD) and possible cancer. She had a 2nd test this morning a PET scan that should give us definite answer on if & where there is cancer in her body. They are looking at her lungs which may not be a good prognosis. Pray for her if you will.
It's a struggle sometimes giving the assistance needed for aging relatives, but well worth it. I am much closer to them now that they are older. There's a sweetness to being there for them and being appreciated for it.
