This small spring fed waterfall and creek reminds me of the one near my sister's home that has a rock bridge you can drive over that is covered with water, known as the "underwater bridge". It is a fun place to walk the woods and wade in the spring once the water is warm enough.
It's so nice to finally be enjoying some true spring weather. It's almost time for strawberries and it has been so cool they are probably stunted and will be late this year. I can hardly wait to enjoy some fresh local berries, my mother's pound cake recipe & vanilla ice cream!
I am preparing hanging baskets, weeding and getting rid of some pesky poison ivy that has dared to show it's face in my bedding area. I am really afraid of that stuff even though I have never had an outbreak of the dreaded rash from contacting it. I think I am going to have to locate something like a beekeepers suit and mask to make myself pull that stuff and bag it up.
Large patio pots need to be planted with annuals for my summer blooms for the front and back door areas. Our grass has been cut 4 times already this month and looks so green. I am so ready for this nice spring weather.
Have a great day! And smile, Jesus loves you! ; >)
