Another Valentine's Day is approaching. I have always loved this day. When I was a child I loved getting the Valentine's cards from all my classmates. I would be thrilled or grossed, depending on who sent the card & the printed sentiment.
I also love Valentine's Day because it is my wedding anniversary. We chose the day for the romance and also because my hubby was off work for President's Day the following Monday & had not earned any vacation so we had a long weekend to honeymoon.
We try to do something special on our anniversary now, but did not get to do so the first few years we were married as we had no extra money. Eating out at a special restaurant or taking a vacation are nice ways to celebrate.
