I just returned from two weeks in Florida---Wonderful! It was so relaxing to have that long to see the state, enjoy the sun and nice hot weather. It was so good that we are planning to go two weeks or longer next time we get a chance.

I had knee surgery in late August and was afraid it would hinder my walking and enjoying vacation to the fullest. I healed so well that I had no problems whatsoever. I saw my surgeon today and was released early due to the speedy recovery. I think all the walking actually sped up the healing and knee movement process.

It is fall weather where I live now. We had an early frost warning this week. Hopefully we will have a short winter. One good snow is beautiful each winter, no ice, please!
